To know me there is some background information that would help describe where I am today...

I have had a passion for this career starting back to when I attended Haslett High School near Lansing, MI. While attending Haslett I participated in varisty hockey, baseball, and football.

Aside from the atheltics, I was fortunate enough to be in accepted into a program at the Capital Area Career Center where I went through an accelerated banking and finance program. Here I was awarded the opportunity to begin an internship with a local credit union as a teller. At the credit union I developed my desire and basic knowledge for the work I do today.

After high school I continued my education at Lansing Community College where I played Division III hockey and worked my way through the ranks of the credit union to loan processor. I ran into many difficult situations with people who had holes in thier financial plan. Seeing people struggle would leave me with a desire to help. I decided to transfer to Central Michigan University where I  began my curriculum in the Personal Financial Planning program.

The Personal Financial program allowed me to study along side my peers and learn from Certified Financial Planners with years of experience. These individuals drove me to explore internships with companies that would allow for me to provide the best service and products to clients.

My journey at Northwestern began  in 2009 as a college intern where I placed in the top 5% out of  3,000+ college agents. I was part of the internship program for over a year where I learned the fundamentals and that education, hard work, and determination could bring my dream of making an impact a reality.

I learned early that education is the key to a financially sound future and as a financial representative it is my responsibility to listen and make accurate recommendations for my clients. I am driven to educate and help identify the needs of individuals, families, small business, and corporations alike, that are built around hard work and caring, and to find solutions for those needs.
